Need a walk-in freezer replacement door that won't frost over or freeze shut? Every ELT freezer door is built in Detroit and shipped prehung, ready to retrofit into your existing walk-in. It fits any brand, including Kolpak, Amerikooler, Master-Bilt, Nor-Lake, U.S. Cooler and Bally.
Freezer doors work harder than cooler doors. That's why every ELT freezer door comes with a heated frame with replaceable anti-condensate heater wire, high-density insulation, a magnetic gasket with double sweep, and commercial hardware with an interior safety release. Choose your frame, left or right hinge, and white, silver or stainless.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my freezer door frosting or freezing shut?
Usually because the heater wire in the frame has failed. A replacement door with a new heated frame fixes it for good.
What frame do I need?
Plug frame (overlay / face mount): mounts on the face of your existing opening. It's the most common choice for a retrofit replacement.
Jamb frame: an L-shaped frame that fits into the opening. The 1½-inch throat usually replaces a flush-frame door, and the 4-inch throat is common for new construction. We also custom-build the throat to match your wall thickness.
Sandwich frame: wraps around the wall on both sides.
Picture frame: a four-sided frame for replacing a flush freezer door on a walk-in with a 4-inch insulated floor. Because it frames all four sides, the new door sits flush instead of sticking out.
Will it fit my walk-in?
We build to your opening size. Standard sizes ship fast, and custom sizes are welcome.
Is installation difficult?
No. The door arrives prehung in its frame, so you just set it, square it and fasten it.
